Dr. Ehsan Rezvan

Dr. Ehsan Rezvan, President of the Rezvan Foundation for Excellence, grew up in Columbus, Ohio and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University as well as a certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. He maintains full-time practices in Gilroy and Monterey, California and resides near San Francisco with his wife and three children. Dr. Rezvan is inspired by the opportunities his father’s sacrifices brought forth for him and has immense gratitude for the importance his father placed on education. He strives to create the same opportunity for recipients of the Rezvan Foundation for Excellence grants and the generations that follow them.

Steven Kinsella

Steven Kinsella is the Superintendent/President of Gavilan Joint Community College in Gilroy, CA. During his 25 years in California community colleges, Steve worked at Los Angeles, Monterey Peninsula and West Valley-Mission community college districts. He possesses a Doctor, Master and Bachelor degrees in Business Administration with emphasis on accounting, technology and operations management. He is also a licensed CPA and a finance expert in California community college operations. Prior to joining the community colleges in 1991, Steve was a U.S. Marine, where he worked his way through the rank structure starting at private and ending as a major with 23 years of active and reserve duty.

Elizabeth Naimi-Yazdi

Elizabeth Naimi-Yazdi, Vice President to the Rezvan Foundation for Excellence, brings 15 years of management experience in various roles as an entrepreneurial business owner. Over the course of her career, Elizabeth has led new business development opportunities and forged strong business relationships with companies and individuals throughout North America and Asia. In addition to leveraging her experience to manage the success of the Foundation, she is duly motivated by her personal relationship with Dr. Ahmad Rezvan and his inspiring dialogue on the importance of education and assisting those in need.

Ron Elliot

Ron Elliot is the former Chairman and CEO of Excelligence Learning Corporation, the second largest developer and supplier of early childhood education products in the U.S. Mr. Elliott serves on the Board of The Monterey Program for Executive Health and is a senior advisor to several private equity firms. He received a degree in Broadcast Journalism from New York University. He divides his time between Monterey, California and Manhattan.

Suken N. Shah

Suken N. Shah is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Spotlight Equity Partners, a leading private equity firm. He has been a private equity investor for over 15 years and began his career in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Suken graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and with honors from Northwestern University, where he earned a BA degree in Economics and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences. He also holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Shaudy Danaye-Armstrong

Shaudy Danaye-Armstrong holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Philosophy from Stanford University, and earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Chicago. She is Litigation Counsel at Google Inc., and lives in San Francisco with her husband and two-year-old twins.

Natalie Naimi-Yazdi

Natalie Naimi-Yazdi acts as Secretary to the Rezvan Foundation for Excellence. As the Senior Director of Global Sourcing at Harbor Freight Tools, Natalie leads high performance teams across three countries to drive key company objectives. Through her experience in strategy and business process improvement, Natalie's experience will be a strong asset in shaping the Foundation's growth and development.
