Education is the Key to Success
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela
Rewarding Perseverance
Some kids don't have the benefit of love and protection from both of their parents. When those kids somehow show the will to soar anyway, Rezvan Foundation wants to be the wind at their backs. Our goal is to provide ongoing mentorship and scholarships for full tuition up to $100,000 over the course of four years for each recipient." – Elizabeth Naimi Yazdi
Rezvan Foundation for Excellence

The Rezvan Foundation for Excellence was founded by Dr. Ehsan Rezvan to honor the legacy of his father, Dr. Ahmad Rezvan. Growing up in Iran, Ahmad faced tremendous obstacles: abject poverty and the devastating loss of his father when he was just 14 years old. Despite this, and while providing for his grief-stricken family, Ahmad stunned his small town by putting himself through school and winning admission to the most prestigious university in Iran. Ahmad needed equal parts excellence and determination to transform his life as he did. With just a little bit less of either quality, Ahmad would never have been able to pick himself up after the blows life had dealt him. Rezvan Foundation wants to support students who have that same incredible combination of strengths.

The mission of the Rezvan Foundation is to support the educational pursuits of exceptionally talented young students who have shown a determination to succeed despite the crippling loss of one or more parent, or removal from their parents' home.

It is our hope that Rezvan scholars will continue to “pay it forward” and keep the generous spirit of Dr. Ahmad Rezvan and his family alive for generations to come.
